EXALTATION OF EXPECTATION

We must raise our limited expectation up to God’s unlimited ability. Since faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, (Romans 10:17) we must continually feed on God’s Word so that we can believe that He is who He says He is, He still does what He always did, and that He causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him. Jesus speaks that we are not to live by bread alone, but rather by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. It is through the hearing of His eternal Word, the hearing of the testimonies of this Word being fulfilled, and demonstrated in, and through the life of simple believers that we have faith to believe Him for the impossible today. The power of the testimony is that God has not changed, that He still does today what He did yesterday. So today may we feed on His Word so that we may walk in faith believing Him for the impossible. For without faith it is impossible to please Him, for if any man come to God, he must believe that He is, and that He is a REWARDER of them that diligently seek Him.
