The Blood that Cleanses 1 John 1:9

I can remember losing a Spelling B when I was in Grade School by misspelling the word “toboggan”. My mistake was in spelling it with only one “g” instead of two. After being informed that I had misspelled it and then hearing the correct spelling, I immediately determined in my heart that I would never misspell that word again! For you see, to make that mistake once from ignorance is one thing, but choosing not to learn from my mistake and to repeat it again would not be a mistake but rather a lack of concern, laziness, dull indifference, or even outright defiance. Every time we make a mistake due to ignorance which is defined as a lack of knowledge, we have the opportunity to receive the knowledge to be empowered not to repeat the same mistake. For if we have received the knowledge, then to repeat the mistake is not a mistake, but a willful choice. We must understand that a lead pencil is provided with an eraser to erase and fix mistakes, not for the purpose of willfully making them. In the scripture reference I now want to share, I want to drive this point home. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (I John 1:9 NKJV) The blood of Jesus is for the purpose of cleansing us from all unrighteousness but was never shed for us to continue living in unrighteousness once we have received the knowledge of the truth! To continue to do so willfully cannot be called a mistake, but rather willful disobedience, and “there ain’t no power and victory in that!” <

Proclamation with demonstration!

We are living in a day where the Body of Christ is starting to awaken to the reality that we are called to be on a mission with a mandate! We are called to go, proclaim, and demonstrate the glory of God. The Gospel without power is not good news, it is just another religious philosophy in contrast with many others. With this awakening there is coming an activation to corporately release our individual gifting, and calling in unity. This then causes an acceleration of the outreach released through His Body, the Church! As the song heralds, “God is not dead, He is surely alive, He is living on the inside roaring like a lion!” The realization of this fact to the world is demonstrated through us, his people being excited (fully awake), and ignited (fully on fire)! If there is no fervency on our part in releasing the word and will of God, then we should not be surprised if there is no radical response from those who hear. I want to share a statement that keeps resounding in my heart: The absence of hope makes despair all convincing, and the absence of light makes darkness “seem” light-quenching! If we do not obey the Great Commission and go, preach, and release, then the only option that seems to be real is the kingdom of darkness that exists due to the absence of “The Kingdom of Light!” The “Kingdom of God is at hand” is our message and the demonstration of this through The Lord working with us in the releasing of signs, wonders, and miracles is our mandate! Unknowingly, the world is waiting for a real revelation of The Lord JESUS Christ that can only be demonstrated through us, His a Body, the Church! Come on, let’s go, preach, and release!

God has an answer to our questions!

20131020-051009.jpg

Ask rightly, and receive!

Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. (Psalms 37:4 NKJV)
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (John 15:7 NKJV)
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (I John 5:14, 15 NKJV)

If we delight in Him, abide in Him, and ask according to His will, then we receive because we have rightly requested! Appropriating Faith (faith that receives) can never go beyond our knowledge of the revealed will of God. Know His word, ways and works = knowing His will! <

My Favorite Passage of Scripture and Why!

The following scripture is one of my favorite passages. I am copying it from different translations and then I will share the New Testament parallel scriptures before I expound on it.

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV)

“This is God ’s Message, the God who made earth, made it livable and lasting, known everywhere as God: ‘Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.’ (Jeremiah 33:2, 3 MSG)

Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. (Jeremiah 33:3 NLT)

Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand). (Jeremiah 33:3 AMP)

NEW TESTAMENT

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. (John 14:7-11 NKJV)

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. (John 14:16, 17 NKJV)

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (John 14:26 NKJV)

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. (John 16:13-15 NKJV)

‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. (Acts 2:17, 18 NKJV)

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:26, 27 NKJV)

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. (I Corinthians 2:9-12 NKJV)

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. (I Corinthians 12:1-11 NKJV)

Father God is, and always has been a God of revelation. Just as He instructed Jeremiah to call unto Him, and He would answer, and bring forth revelation, so Jesus came likewise bringing a fuller revelation of the heart and will of Father God. Then Jesus proclaims that He would not leave us helpless nor hopeless, but on the day of Pentecost He sent back Holy Spirit to birth His church, and to dwell within us. His purpose within us is to lead us into all truth, remind us of the revelation that Jesus shared, speak of things to come, and empower us to effectively affect this world. He is our comforter, counselor, guide, and revealer of future events that Father wants us to know. He reveals to us by speaking to us, interceding through us, by the giving of visions and dreams, through His gifts that work through us for others, and through confirmation of His written Word. What He did, He still does! As we seek Father God, in the authority of Jesus, by the effectual working of Holy Spirit, we are then empowered to walk this world in the victory of knowing and receiving all that we have need of! This is why grace is “So Amazing!”

Hide not the Holy Spirit gifts within, they are given to be shared and prayed. For what good is a sundial, if it is always sitting in the shade!

Death or Life?

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:21 KJV)

Too many of us go around complaining about the life that we are presently living instead of speaking the words that will establish the life that God wants us to live. Just as God spoke and Holy Spirit responded, so do our words create the atmosphere that we live in. Our words are either speaking faith or fear, cursing or blessing, life or death, encouragement (to put courage in) or discouragement (to pull courage out), positive or negative, joy or despair, peace or turmoil, love or hate! We are the only creation of God that is made in His image and likeness! We, humanity, of all creation have the ability to create, decree, and establish by the power of our spoken word! I encourage you today to change your talk, and in doing so, since your spirit also hears the very words you speak, you will begin to change your walk!! ~ King Fish Ministries <

Love me enough to speak the truth, in love!

If someone loves you, they WILL tell you the truth! This is not to judge you, for the same Word that cuts you, cuts them. If someone has cared enough to speak the truth in love, you might just want to thank them today??

To hell, or not to hell, that is the question?

“There once was a rich man, expensively dressed in the latest fashions, wasting his days in conspicuous consumption. A poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, had been dumped on his doorstep. All he lived for was to get a meal from scraps off the rich man’s table. His best friends were the dogs who came and licked his sores. “Then he died, this poor man, and was taken up by the angels to the lap of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell and in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham in the distance and Lazarus in his lap. He called out, ‘Father Abraham, mercy! Have mercy! Send Lazarus to dip his finger in water to cool my tongue. I’m in agony in this fire.’ “But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that in your lifetime you got the good things and Lazarus the bad things. It’s not like that here. Here he’s consoled and you’re tormented. Besides, in all these matters there is a huge chasm set between us so that no one can go from us to you even if he wanted to, nor can anyone cross over from you to us.’ “The rich man said, ‘Then let me ask you, Father: Send him to the house of my father where I have five brothers, so he can tell them the score and warn them so they won’t end up here in this place of torment.’ “Abraham answered, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets to tell them the score. Let them listen to them.’ “‘I know, Father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but they’re not listening. If someone came back to them from the dead, they would change their ways.’ “Abraham replied, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the Prophets, they’re not going to be convinced by someone who rises from the dead.’” (Luke 16:19-31 MSG)

I MET A YOUNG MAN ALONG LIFE’S JOURNEY ONE DAY,
“I AM FREE!, I AM FREE!” ARE THE WORDS I HEARD HIM SAY,

“I HAVE NO BOUNDARIES, NO LIMITS, NO RESTRAINTS,
I BOW TO NO GOD AS DO THOSE THEY CALL SAINTS.”

“I AM MY OWN MAN, I DO IT MY WAY,
I DO MY OWN THING, DAY AFTER EACH DAY.”

“I DON’T LISTEN TO OTHERS, I NEED NOT A TEACHER,
I KNOW WHAT TO DO! I TAKE NO ADVICE FROM AN ELDER!”

“COME ON AND GO WITH ME, I WILL SHOW YOU SOME FUN,
YOU WILL NEED NOT TO WORRY, FROM NO ONE WE RUN.”

“IF IT FEELS GOOD WE WILL DO IT, WE WILL LAUGH AND WILL PLAY,
WE WILL NOT LISTEN TO OTHERS, NO MATTER WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY.”

“THERE IS NOT A GOD WHO RULES HEAVEN AND EARTH,
MAN IS IN CONTROL, WE ARE OF THE HIGHEST WORTH.”

“WE WILL GAIN THIS WORLD’S TREASURE, MONEY, POWER AND GREAT FAME,
WE WILL MAKE FOR OURSELVES, A NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES.”

BUT I CHOSE NOT TO FOLLOW FOR I KNEW IN MY HEART,
THAT HERE WAS A MAN PLAYING A SIMPLE FOOL’S PART.

FOR DOES HE NOT KNOW THAT ONE DAY ON HIS DEATH BED,
HE WILL REGRET THE SELF PATH THAT HE CHOSE TO BE LED?

NO FORTUNE, NO POSSESSION, NO POWER, NO GREAT FAME,
WILL EVER PAY THE PRICE FOR THIS MAN’S GUILT AND SHAME.

FOR WHAT DOES IT PROFIT A MAN IF HE SHOULD GAIN THE WORLD AND LOSE HIS SOUL,
OR WHAT SHALL A MAN GIVE TO PURCHASE BACK HIS OWN SOUL?

NOTHING!, NOTHING!, NOTHING!, NO FORTUNE, DEEDS NOR FAME
HAS THE POWER OR ABILITY TO CLEAR HIS GUILTY NAME

IF THERE WAS SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE BLOOD OF JESUS TO CLAIM,
THEN WHY WOULD FATHER GOD PUT HIS ONLY SON THROUGH GREAT PAIN?

THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO FATHER, AND THAT IS THROUGH JESUS I TELL,
AND TODAY THERE ARE NO ATHEISTS, IN THE DEPTHS THEY CALL HELL!

Men will not find themselves in hell because God rejected them, but because they rejected Him!

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him. (John 3:16-18 MSG)
